Local Data Storage

WatchTower stores your preferences locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. This includes:

• Theme preference (light, dark, or auto)
• Sound effects setting (on/off)
• Haptic feedback setting (on/off)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can reset this data by deleting the app.

Third-Party Services

WatchTower integrates with the following third-party services to provide market data and charting functionality:

• Yahoo Finance API — Used to fetch real-time market index data. Your device makes direct requests to Yahoo's servers. Please review Yahoo's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle requests.
• TradingView Widget — Used to display interactive stock charts. The widget loads within the app via an embedded web view. Please review TradingView's Privacy Policy for information on their data practices.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

Data Security

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to secure on our end. Your local preferences are protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

Children's Privacy

WatchTower is a financial information app intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since our app does not collect personal data, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
